Behavior Stabilization Services
Northwest Passage provides a short-term Behavior Stabilization program that often is used by clients and families who find
themselves in need of a short-term, safe haven placement. These services may be used in some cases as an alternative to shelter
care or by clients awaiting an admission to one of our other residential programs.
During a Behavior Stabilization placement, clients participate in structured daily activities and, if warranted, may be seen
by our psychiatrist to address questions of stability related to medications. Behavior Stabilization placements range greatly
in length entirely dependent on the needs of the client and his or her family.
